The Fourth of July in Flower Mound is not just a holiday. It is an event. Over 25,000 people come together across two venues, from the morning Children's Parade to the evening festival and fireworks. It is the kind of day that reminds you why you chose to live where you live.

This year, Cafe Smile Studio was there for all of it. As a Spirit Sponsor of the 2026 Flower Mound Independence Fest, our team spent the entire day doing what we love most: being part of our community.

A Day That Started Early

The morning kicked off at Leonard and Helen Johns Park with the Children's Parade. Kids decorated their bikes and wagons in red, white, and blue and paraded through the park while families lined the path, cheering and waving flags. Our team was there in the crowd, soaking in the energy and celebrating alongside our neighbors.

By late afternoon, we were at Bakersfield Park setting up our booth for the main event. Our navy blue tent went up, the banners came out, and the table was loaded with brochures, giveaways, and our signature dice game. The evening festival runs from 5 PM until well past the fireworks finale at 10:30 PM, and we were there for every minute of it.

Meeting Our Neighbors Face to Face

Community events like Independence Fest give us something that no amount of online presence can replicate: real, face-to-face connection. Over the course of the evening, hundreds of people stopped by our booth. Some were existing patients who came over to say hello. Others had never heard of Cafe Smile Studio and were curious about the cafe-inspired dental practice just up the road in Highland Village.

We talked to parents about their children's first dental visits. We chatted with couples about cosmetic options they had been considering. We met retirees who had been looking for a new dentist closer to home. And we connected with fellow business owners and community members who share our passion for making this corner of North Texas a great place to live.

This year was especially exciting because we also introduced Cafe Vitality Studio, our new body wellness program. Alongside our dental care materials, we shared information about treatments and services designed to help our community feel their best from head to toe. The response was overwhelming. People were genuinely excited to learn that comprehensive wellness services would be available right here in Highland Village.
